WAIT, WHAT? COLOUR?

As you can see this jacket is a massive change for me. Bright yellow, who'd of thought it! I have to admit this jacket has grown on me! I've been searching for a corduroy jacket for years so when I spotted this beauty I knew I needed it!

I was gifted this jacket from Atom Retro who's in-house brand is Madcap England. The brand itself is based on 1960's vintage. The Woburn Cord Jacket I'm wearing comes in four different colours which have been specially dyed including a burgundy, dark brown, black and my choice of colour the honey gold. The jacket has a vintage inspired darted collar and two flap pockets on the chest. The jacket has metallic buttons all embossed with the brand's name.

This jacket also has two small hand warming pockets which I really like. I always love somewhere to put my hands when I walk and this jacket has them in the perfect place for that little extra rock 'n' roll edge. I decided to get this jacket in medium, I jumped up a size as the jacket has a slim fit to it and is also quite short in the body. I'm glad I did, as the medium fits me perfectly!

I think the jacket looks awesome, especially with that retro pleat in the corduroy fabric accentuating that classic 60's look. This jacket really is a timeless piece. All Madcap England clothing is brand new and is designed to have that retro vintage look. Meaning you're getting a fresh new garment without some of the drawbacks of real vintage.
