Hello, I'm back after my week away. I can't begin to tell you all how good it feels to be back writing and creating content for my blog. I feel I have my spark back and I'm even more excited than ever to see what the next few months have in store! Even just a week out of the game has given me time to think, plan, and gain more inspiration along with some valuable ideas. This can now be channeled back into my blog, so hello, welcome back or welcome to any new readers out there!
Right, here's what I've got to share with you all tonight. Well I'm talking about a brand I've mentioned once before on my blog, last summer to be precise. This super cool Australian brand was made famous by its denim and it's now known for a whole lot more! The brand in question is Rolla's. I was lucky enough to be gifted two pieces from the brand a few weeks ago and this is the first item I want to show you all, this crazy cool cord jacket.
As you can see the 'The Denim Sherpa' is a statement piece and has has become an icon in Rolla's' range. Made from a stretch corduroy and lined with a soft fleece lining, the Sherpa jacket gives you that stylish look with added comfort. It's a super durable jacket which comes in a range of colours across on their website. The natural cord is my favourite colour in the range and is the one I'm sporting, making it a little more spring-like and super easy to pair with other items from my wardrobe.
The jacket has two large chest pockets each fastened down by chunky golden buttons which have the Rolla's brand name embossed into them, the same buttons are used at the front to fasten the jacket up. I just love the look of these buttons, I think they finish the jacket off so well. As you can see I took more of a casual approach to styling this jacket and paired it with a low slung white tee and a staple pair of black skinny jeans. With the jacket sleeves rolled up and a pair of shades on, it made for a sweet laid-back look.
The second item I was given was 'The Bon Shirt'. This is a relaxed, lightweight cotton, short sleeved shirt featuring a killer exclusive rose print pattern print. It's the perfect shirt for the summer! I chose the shirt in black (OBVIOUSLY) but it also comes in white which looks pretty snazzy too! I love the style and fit of the shirt, it looks super cool and also has that rock and roll edge!
This shirt fits with my style so well, I can't wait to wear it on a long summer evenings, its light, breathable, cut and shaped perfectly and looks amazing on, I only have good words to say about it! Since it wasn't warm when I shot this shirt I paired it with my staple leather biker which I have been wearing far too much recently nevertheless I think it made for an equally cool pairing. Rose's and leather, yes please!
