Believe it or not, it's been two years since my last pair of lightening bolt boots, but I guess you could say they've lasted me! These are actually the new shape Asos have released, which arrived around a year after the initial taller boot design, which had believe it or not an even bigger Cuban heel! Don't get me wrong, there's still a fair wedge on the back of these beauties which gives you that extra hight, however, I find this new shape to also be slightly wider than my first pair.
I wear my lightening boots as more of an everyday shoe, if I'm out during the day, they've got everything you want in a boot, they're comfortable, cool and in my opinion look more expensive than they actually are - £55, meaning if something bad does happen to them, it's not the end of the world!
The lightening bolt design is actually the elasticated section, which on an ordinary pair of boots is normally a boring rounded U shape, however this lacklustre feature has been transformed from that, to a killer lightening bolt design! The boot has an awesome shape and pointed toe, as well as a pull tab on the back of the boot, so you can take them on and off with ease.
